One of the great things about the film is that it was shot in the style of a 1980’s horror film. It’s not only shot in the style, features the tone, pacing of an 80’s horror film, but it uses the exact filming techniques and technology of that era. Basically, if I put the movie on television, and told you it was a horror film from 1983, you’d believe me. A little while ago, Dark Sky Films sent out a copy of the movie on VHS to some horror journalists, as part of a viral marketing initiative for the film. At the time they said that the VHS copies were only produced for the viral, and would not be available for sale. It appears they have changed their minds.
