Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender (aka the original Avatar) since last June when the teaser premiered. The film has been test screening this week, with two very mixed reader reviews showing up on AICN. Not being all that familiar with the animated series on which the film is based, I’m just curious to see how Shyamalan fares with a film that isn’t based on his own story, and where he’s in thrall to action and effects in a way that is new to his work....
