TV Buzz: Fox’s Glee Debuts To Okay Ratings And Vocal Fans After Tireless Marketing By Hunter Stephenson/Sept. 11, 2009 10:10 am EST Wednesday marked the first time I’ve watched Glee. I became aware of it—and the buzz—when comedian/co-star Jane Lynch (Best in Show) noticeably left the first season of Party Down on Starz due to her commitment. After the switcheroo occurred, I began to hear from friends just how funny and vital Lynch was on Glee, and while her scenes this week fit that description, I feel the cast of Party Down (Martin Starr, Adam Scott) is a hipper, more talented, and uncensored springboard for Lynch’s zingers....

However, it does contain some added “Easter eggs”. Gavin Hood appeared at a press screening in Hollywood tonight, and the director revealed that the theatrical cut would feature multiple “Easter egg endings” (or what some call “a button”) following the credits....

Blockbuster Brings Back Late Fees By Peter Sciretta/March 2, 2010 4:01 am EST Home Media Magazine is reporting that the Blockbuster Video movie rental chain will be quietly reinstating late fees in their brick-and-mortar locations, with a capped rate. Members who pay the $4.99 for a new release DVD will have five days to return the movie, instead of seven. A $1-per-day late fee will be assessed for every movie is late, for up to 10 days....
