This isnt a big surprise. This isn’t anything new. The ethics of Variety’s sourcing practices have been well documented. It’s just very disappointing.

Box Office: The Dark Knight Beats The Mummy By Peter Sciretta/Aug. 3, 2008 11:32 am EST The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will end the weekend well behind industry expectations with $42.5 million. This means once again, The Dark Knight is #1 at the box office with $44.8M, pushing the film’s domestic total to $395.88 million. The Dark Knight currently stands as the #8 biggest grossing film of all time domestically, and on Monday it is expected to overtake Spider-Man to become the biggest comic book movie adaptation of all time....

With speed ramp, heavy guitar riffs, and fast paced edits, this definitely isn’t “your father’s Clash of the Titans”. And I’m not really a fan of the “Titans will Clash” slogan. I know a lot of you will probably be impressed by this trailer, calling it “bad ass”....

No official confirmation. Paramount released a limited edition set of four teaser posters at comic-con. Each poster shows the same headless statue of liberty picture. What’s different is the wording on the top of the poster: Monstrous, Barbarous, Furious and Terrifying....
