Cool Stuff: Wall-E Model By Peter Sciretta/Nov. 24, 2007 5:43 am EST Yesterday we showed you a real-life animatronic version of Pixar’s Luxo, Jr. Today we bring you a photo of Disney’s real-world model of WALL-E on display at the Disney Animation pavillion at Disney’s California Adventure park in Anaheim, California. Wall-E is the coolest droid since R2. How cute is he? If Disney had any real marketing sense, they would make a small robotic Wall-E toy unit for sale, kinda like the R2-D2 unit that Lucasfilm sells....

Dark Knight/300 Producers Developing Futuristic Robin Hood Movie By Peter Sciretta/Aug. 7, 2009 12:28 am EST Ridley Scott isn’t the only man in Hollywood making a Robin Hood movie. Warner Bros is also developing a film based on the classic tale, but with a sci-fi twist. Danish commercial director Nicolai Fuglsig pitched the project, and has signed on to direct. Newcomer Jason Dean Hall, who wrote the Ashton Kutcher Sundance comedy Spread and is working on a big screen adaptation of the video game Blacklight for Fox, has been hired to write the screenplay....
