Movie Trailer: Woody Allen’s Cassandra’s Dream By Peter Sciretta/Aug. 20, 2007 2:44 pm EST The international movie trailer for Woody Allen’s next film, Cassandra’s Dream is now online. The film tells the story of two Cockney brothers (Collin Farrell and Ewan McGregor) in south London and their relationship with a young woman (Hayley Atwell) who lands in London on her search for fortune. She crosses the two men by accident on her path and when one them falls in love with her, she becomes aware of her power to attract the opposite sex and uses this to the point of leading the two brothers, who are in financial difficulty, into crime, and creating a dangerous rivalry between the two men....

Netflix Begins Testing Watch Instantly On The Mac By Peter Sciretta/Oct. 26, 2008 9:00 pm EST Netflix has begun testing its Watch Instantly movie streaming service for the Mac. Microsoft’s Silverlight will allow the rental company to safely DRM the 12,000+ movies and television shows now available on their instant streaming service. Netflix claims that Sliverlight provides “breakthrough navigation for fast-forward and rewind.” Wow. No details on when this service will be rolled out to all Mac customers....
