Officially it won’t be replacing the original version, just running alongside it, but if this new, reduced version turns out to steamroll the first cut in box office terms, I think we can all guess what will happen....

Spy Report: Inception Shooting At University College London By Peter Sciretta/July 15, 2009 6:33 pm EST Christopher Nolan and crew have been apparently been spotted filming “Oliver’s Arrow”, the not-so-secret shooting title for his next feature film, Inception, in and around the University College London. A couple bits of new information about the film were revealed in a spy report on IMDB. Find out more after the jump. According to the report, Nolan and crew were shooting in UCL’s Wilkins building to film a scene in the main library (photo above), which was retrofitted with signage transforming the location into the Bibliotheque of the “Ecole de Architecture” in France....

Recently though, Roth has confirmed that he’s moved on from the project in favour of self-created works. So what next? According to a new report from Fangoria, the plan to realize the Cell adaptation as a big screen movie left with him and now, John Harrison is scripting an adaptation to be shopped around the networks as a 4-hour miniseries....

This Christmas (Sony), Fred Claus (Warner Bros) and Beowulf (Dreamworks/Paramount) have finished 3-4-5 on Saturday and for the 3-day frame. The cause of death has not been released, although the actor had been diagnosed with symptoms similar to those of Alzheimer’s disease. The characters of Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Death Proof talk about one another while eating at the same restaurants (like Big Kahuna Burger). Characters jump from one feature to another, and family relations might be mentioned in one script, but not seen on screen until another movie down the line. And at the Austin premiere of Inglourious Basterds, The Playlist learned that this film is, not surprisingly, related to True Romance, in a way that detail-oriented fans probably already suspect....
