What Would NPH Do? By Peter Sciretta/Oct. 23, 2007 9:59 am EST “NPH Would never do that man!” So, the question now becomes, “What would NPH do?” That is the topic of the new Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay movie poster (thanks to IGN, via Cinematical), which features Neil Patrick Harris riding a unicorn. Interestingly enough, the poster features the older “Harold & Kumar 2” title and “Coming Soon” although it was announced last week that the film will now hit theaters on February 8th 2008 (pushed up from April)....

500 Days Of Summer Movie Trailer By Peter Sciretta/March 3, 2009 4:44 pm EST The trailer begins much like the movie begins, with fairy tale like narration. You’ll get brief glimpse at some of the more non-traditional visual storytelling techniques that Webb employs (dream sequences, split screens, and even a dance number) and also gives you a brief listen to the film’s incredibly hip soundtrack (track listing here). The trailer comes off as a little cliche (which is strange since the film is the opposite of generic) and I still don’t think it plays up the aspect of the film that makes it so unique – the fact that the movie jumps between the past and the future to help explain how the couple fell in love and what, if anything, went wrong....

Ben Stiller’s Little Fockers By Peter Sciretta/Nov. 18, 2008 2:43 am EST Meet the Parents was actually a pretty funny family comedy, but I found Fockers extremely painful to watch. The title is the funniest thing about the sequel. The addition of Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand just didn’t work, and I don’t think the introduction of a baby (or possible twins) will make a third film any better.
