Terminator Salvation In 4 Minutes, McG Explains PG-13 Rating By Peter Sciretta/May 7, 2009 3:57 pm EST Director McG tells SciFi that he only cut one shot in Terminator Salvation to earn the PG-13 rating. The quick cut involved featuring Sam Worthington’s character Marcus “stabbing a screwdriver through the shoulder” of a thug. You might be wondering, what about that much talked about topless scene featuring Moon Bloodgood? McG claims that in the end “it felt more like a gratuitous moment of a girl taking her top off in an action picture, and I didn’t want that to convolute the story or the characters....

The Barbarella Story By Peter Sciretta/Oct. 25, 2007 6:37 pm EST Nikki Finke has confirmed Robert Rodriguez’ story with her Universal sources, and it APPEARS that McGowan wasn’t the sore point in the Barbarella project after all. Apparently the Universal execs fell in love with Rose, who appeared in an early screen test back in July. “a rather spectacular screen test of Rose playing the role of Barbarella that also demonstrated Robert’s vision and visual style for the movie....

The Dark Knight: 40 High Resolution Photos By Peter Sciretta/May 9, 2008 11:30 pm EST /Film reader KillingJoke just sent me 40 high resolution production photos from The Dark Knight. Some of these are clearly not new, but have never been released at this high res. A good portion of the photos appear to be new. They appear to be part of an official release, and I really don’t consider any of these photos spoilerific since no plot points are shown that couldn’t already be seen watching the theatrical movie trailers....
