Paul Haggis To Write James Bond 22

The Academy Award winning writer/director of Crash has been hired to do a draft of the next James Bond film. According to the LA Times, Paul Haggis was co-writer on the insanely successful Casino Royale, in addition to Million Dollar Baby, Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima. We previously told you that the rumored short list of directors includes: Tony Scott (Deja Vu), Marc Forster (Monster’s Ball, Stranger Than Fiction) and Alex Proyas (I, Robot, Dark City). The newspaper has added Jonathan Mostow (Breakdown, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) to the list. James Bond 22 is slated for a November 7th 2008 release.
